OLST is proud to have an active and engaged Mini-Vinnies group.
The Mini-Vinnies are an international Christian voluntary network that is dedicated to putting into practice the teachings of the Gospels and all aspects of Catholic Social Teaching.
Our small group, made up of a mix of children from faith and non-faith backgrounds, is instrumental in the local outreach the school does, including:
- raising money for different causes through a range of different activities.
- organising the children in the school to collect effectively for the local food bank.
- organising and selling bric-a-brac at the school summer fair to raise money for charity.
- planning, resourcing and leading Lenten activities for the whole school to participate in on the run-up to Easter.
...and a range of other activities too.
