Curriculum Sequence
Due to the nature of our school and having mostly mixed age classes, we have chosen to sequence the curriculum for Y1 and Y2 over a two year rolling cycle. Y3, Y4 and Y5 the curriculum is sequenced over a three year cycle.
For Y6, the curriculum is sequenced over a year.
Each topic includes a knowledge retention/recap element so that we build on prior learning from the previous topic.
Pupils take an assessed task in each unit which draws on their learning and vocabulary.
Mrs Hall is the point of contact for our history curriculum.
