Our school community united to mark Armistice Day and honour those who gave their lives for peace and freedom. At 11am, pupils and staff observed a two-minute silence, reflecting on the importance of remembrance.
Children engaged in meaningful activities to understand the history of Armistice Day, including stories, art projects, and discussions about why the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is so significant. They explored values of courage, sacrifice, and hope for a peaceful future.
On Remembrance Sunday, school representatives laid a wreath at the local cenotaph to pay tribute to fallen heroes. Lest we forget.
We are proud of how thoughtfully our pupils embraced this important part of history and demonstrated respect during our Remembrance Day activities.
