We brought the Jubilee Year to a joyful close with a whole-school celebration that truly reflected our theme of being Pilgrims of Hope. The day was filled with community spirit as pupils gathered in their House Groups to enjoy refreshing juice and freshly baked biscuits, followed by a special assembly to reflect on our journey throughout the Jubilee Year.
As we looked ahead to Advent, each House Group took part in a meaningful activity to prepare for this special season. One of the highlights was creating beautiful peg angels, a symbol of hope and kindness. These angels were then delivered by our amazing Mini Vinnies to the local Care Home and to members of our Parish community who were in need of a little extra support. Through this simple yet heartfelt gesture, our pupils helped spread the message of hope and love throughout our village.
This celebration was a wonderful reminder of the power of faith, community, and compassion—values that lie at the heart of Our Lady and St. Thomas Catholic Primary School.
