Pupils at Our Lady and St Thomas Catholic Primary School were treated to an exciting and engaging live performance of Oliver Twist, delivered by the talented team at M&M Productions. Their energetic adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story filled the school hall with laughter, curiosity, and plenty of captivated faces as children watched the characters and scenes come alive before them.

World Book Day 2026 got off to an exciting start at Our Lady and St Thomas Catholic Primary School in Willington, as pupils arrived dressed as their favourite book characters. From classic story heroes to modern-day favourites, the school was filled with colour, creativity and plenty of literary magic.
